Vet Rockingham

If you need a vet in Rockingham, then you can’t look past Port Kennedy Veterinary Hospital, a clinical practice dedicated to the care and wellbeing of all creatures feathered, furred or scaled. Port Kennedy Veterinary Hospital is proud to employ eighteen support staff and seven dedicated vets so Rockingham residents can receive dedicated care for their assorted pets. Operating in the local area since 1999, Port Kennedy Veterinary Hospital is also committed to the ongoing training of future vets and vet nurses, which is why we regularly offer work experience placements to students studying veterinary medicine. This allows veterinary students to observe experienced vets as they carry our routine pet care tasks and examinations.

With our practice located in Port Kennedy, we’re ideally placed to offer care and treatment from an experienced vet to Rockingham, Port Kennedy, Baldivis and Warnbro residents. We’re open seven days a week, so when your pet needs attention (regardless of the day), we’re available to help.

What services do you offer?

No matter why your pet needs to see a vet, Rockingham residents will find that Port Kennedy Veterinary Hospital staff can provide the assistance you need. This includes offering a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Vaccinations
  • Surgery
  • Grooming (including nail clipping, fur trimming and even hydrobath cleaning)
  • Wellness plans
  • Dental care
  • Weight management plans
  • Juvenile and Senior pet care
  • Puppy Preschool
  • Treatment for exotics (including reptiles, birds and small mammals)
  • End of life care

What’s your policy on continuity of pet care?

We believe that continuity of care should be an important part of the service provided by any vet practice. Because of this, we will always strive to, wherever possible, book your pet in to see the same veterinarian that they saw on their previous visit.

Do you offer vet care payment plans?

Port Kennedy Veterinary Hospital requires payment in full at the time of your pet’s appointment, and payment can be made via credit card (we accept Mastercard, Visa and AMEX), cash or debit cards. However, we understand that sometimes an appointment with the vet may be unexpected, particularly in the event of sudden illness or injury.

For this reason, we also accept VETPAY for bills of $500 or more and ZIP PAY.

VETPAY works as an instant loan for vet bills, allowing you to pay off the balance through fortnightly instalments. To see the full list of terms and conditions, please visit the VETPAY website or speak to one of our helpful receptionists.
